These pretty pears are a wonderful addition to a cheeseboard. They look so elegant and impressive despite being so easy to make.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Pears
  • 1-2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 2 1/2 oz Cambozola Cheese
  • 1/3 cup Walnuts, chopped
  • 3 Sprigs fresh Thyme
  • 1-2 tbsps Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Flaky Salt, for garnish

PREPARATION

Preheat the oven to 400℉.

Slice the pears in half and remove core and seeds. Place cut side up in a cast iron skillet. Drizzle with the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Turn the pears cut side down, transfer the to the oven, and bake for 15 minutes.

Turn the pears over and stuff with the Cambozola cheese, walnuts, and thyme. Return to the oven for 8 minutes, until the cheese has melted a tad.

While the pears are baking, mix the honey with Aleppo pepper in a small bowl.

Once the pears are done, transfer to a platter, drizzle with honey, and garnish with flaky salt. Enjoy!
