Greenlee’s streusel was destined for French toast! This Cinnamon Streusel French Toast is a cozy, indulgent twist on the breakfast classic, layered with buttery crumble and warm, sweet flavors.
Ingredients:
- 1 Greenlee’s Cinnamon Streusel
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 8 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsps Butter
- Maple Syrup (optional)
Directions:
- In a small mixing bowl beat the eggs. Add milk and vanilla and whisk together. Dip bread in the egg mixture and let it soak in for 2 minutes.
- Set a large skillet on medium/high heat and add butter. Add a single layer of coated bread slices and cook for 3-5 minutes on the first side. Once the toast begins to brown, quickly flip each piece once and cook half as long on the second for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve warm with maple syrup!
