From The Fields

From the Fields’ is an artisanal Northern California food company offering a variety of organically sourced, handcrafted foods. This small, local company, run entirely by 5 people, was founded in 2010 in San Rafael, California, growing from humble beginnings to a maker of delicious breakfast foods and healthy snacks covering the West Coast.

From the Fields’ believes choosing which foods we eat is one of the most important decisions each of us makes throughout our day – for our own health and well-being but also for our communities and planet. This same philosophy guides procurement and production. From the Fields’ continues to source from as many California and western state growers as possible, has been certified by California Certified Organic Farmer (CCOF) since their start, and was also one of the earlier companies proud to declare all their foods non-GMO. In addition, they have always had a strong commitment to sustainability and also continue to work very hard to keep organic food options as affordable as possible.

From the Fields’ products are chock full of the finest and freshest tasting ingredients. Upon arrival, their foods are quickly brought into production, packaged and sent out – they have neither the space nor wish to warehouse ingredients for long periods of time – and you can taste the difference. United Markets, just a few miles up the road from their kitchen, has been offering From the Fields’ products since the very start: their granola, all naturally sweetened with honey and Vermont maple syrup, both varieties of their gluten-free, vegan, unsweetened muesli, and a wide assortment of their packaged nuts, dried fruits, and snack mixes including 5 brand new additions to their snack line.
